Our Solid Timber Range
When you select a solid timber casket from our range, a native tree will be donated as a living memorial. To honour this, a native tree is planted by “Trees That Count” as a living memorial for your loved one in reserves across NZ on behalf of the families.
River Rimu is unique due to its age and where it is found, at the bottom of a lake or river. During the years it has spent there, it has taken on a unique colour and patina. This beautiful Waka Moenga (sleeping vessel) carved Rosewood casket was created by our team of talented craftsmen and the carvers at Pūkaha National Wildlife Centre’s Whare Whakairo (carving studio). Trimmed with a high end satin lining.
